| ADMISSIONS PROCESS |
2011-2012 APPLICATION PROCEDURES
The following instructions will ensure the successful and timely completion
of the admission process.

APPLICATION
Please return the following to Hovnanian School:
• A signed and completed Admission Application Form
• Application fee of $75
PLACEMENT TESTING
After we receive your application, we will call to schedule an appointment
for a meeting with the parents and student, a school tour, and placement
testing, if necessary.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
• Transcript and Health information form
• One Teacher Recommendation for schooled students K-8,
 (two recommendations needed for grades 5-8)
• Writing sample for grades 5-8
(All to be mailed to the Admission Office)

SCHOOL VISIT
Parents and prospective students are invited to the Hovnanian School during Open Houses. Tours are offered throughout the school year by appointment after the application has been submitted.
INDIVIDUAL MEETING
Candidates and their parents must have a meeting with the principal.
Applicants may meet with teachers of the Admission Committee.
Prospective students in grades 1-8 might be required to spend the
remainder of their interview in their respective grades. Prospective
students in the Early Learning Center - Kindergarten levels will be invited
to a playgroup and an individual screening session after admission
procedures are complete. |
